How to prevent age-related brain disorders. It includes multiple-choice options

If anything, it should ring a bell!!!

This is the latest Harvard Study! “Mind-blowing” and scary!!!

I believe no one wants to get a stroke, NO ONE, and yet each year, more than 795,000 people suffer a stroke in the United States, and dementia affects one in seven Americans.

If anything, this should encourage you to eat well and exercise.

I also believe the curse of action can be corrected before it is too late.

What factors affect brain health?

The McCance Brain Care Score was designed as a simple tool to encourage people to identify and modify factors that put them at risk for common, age-related brain disorders. It includes multiple-choice options for

1. physical components: blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and body mass index

2. lifestyle components: nutrition, alcohol intake, smoking, aerobic activities, and sleep

3. social-emotional components: stress management, social relationships, and meaning in life.

Each response is assigned a point value; these are added to determine the Brain Care Score, with 21 the highest possible total. Higher scores mean better brain care. #Stroke #BrainHealth #MentalHealth #GeneralHealth #HealthyLifestyle #Nutrition #Fitness
